Welcome to GOJURILLA and the slightly different school for martial arts and self-defense. We combine the teachings of Goju-Ryu Karate with the effective, practical techniques of Israeli Krav Maga.

Our goal is to promote you both mentally and physically. Instead of standardized routines and dull training methods, our focus is on individuality and effectiveness. Let's get to know each other!

We offer karate for children (6-14) as well as Israeli Krav Maga self-defense courses and seminars for adults and anyone who wants to become one (from 14 ;).

GOJURILLA, formerly The Dojo in Grinzing Vienna, promotes martial arts and self-defense in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We want to convey to you the joy of movement, martial arts, as well as increased self-confidence and security.

Head Instructor Thanassi, who has been teaching children and adults for many years, is a Black Belt in Karate and Krav Maga. He works closely with Sensei Michael Holzer (Goju-Ryu Karate) and Grandmaster Moshe Katz (International Israeli Krav Maga) to teach mental and physical self-defense techniques in an unconventional and individual manner that are simple and effective.

GOJURILLA stands for an open, flexible, and adaptable program that adheres to only one rule: to protect oneself and one's loved ones to the best of our ability.

In addition to our ongoing classes and seminars, we also offer 1:1 personal training tailored to your individual needs.

We are currently located in 1080 Vienna (Krav Maga) and 1190 Vienna (Children's Karate).
